On 8 December 2022, the Council for Media Services organised a second roundtable on media literacy in Slovakia. The main topic of discussion of the second roundtable was the cooperation of organisations and institutions in developing media literacy in Slovakia.
More than twenty participants discussed the creation of a Platform for Media Literacy, which should serve, among other things, to share examples of good practice. The participants also discussed the form of roundtables and a database of experts and activities in media literacy. The proposed database is divided into six categories in the field of media literacy: Experts, Education, Materials and Educational Aids, Scientific Activities (research projects and conferences), Grant Programmes and Strategy Papers.
Finally, the CMS representatives briefly informed the attendees about the content of the upcoming newsletter on media literacy.
