Central European Regulatory Forum (CERF)

The CERF has operated under a joint Memorandum of Understanding, Cooperation and Exchange of Information since 2009. Currently, the CERF members are Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia. CERF serves primarily as a tool for regularly exchanging views and experiences among its members on various topics determined annually according to their topicality. In 2021, the CERF meeting was planned to take place in Krakow, Poland, but due to the measures resulting from the pandemic situation, it was held online. The main topics of the meeting were the implementation of the AVMS Directive, the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic crisis on the audiovisual sector in each country and the protection of minors from the negative effects of advertising.
