The remit of the Council for Media Services also includes initiating and conducting research and analytical activities in the sphere of media for the purpose of monitoring and evaluating the state of the media environment, in particular with regard to
the dissemination of hate speech, misinformation, content that may seriously impair the development of minors,
cyberbullying,
media literacy,
commercial media communication,
political promotion and advertising,
internal and external media pluralism, and
the level of media freedom.
