Scope

The Commission for the Protection of Minors is established as a special co-regulatory body for the protection of minors in the application of the unified labelling system and any other accepted labelling system. 

The Commission's responsibilities include: 

  • drafting a generally binding legal regulation laying down details of the unified labelling system and the manner of its application, which it submits to the Ministry of Culture
  • drafting a generally binding legal regulation laying down a list of accepted labelling systems and details of the manner of their application, which it submits to the Ministry of Culture
  • providing methodological guidance on the procedures for determining age suitability by persons carrying out age suitability assessments. The details of the Commission's activities shall be regulated by the Rules of Procedure, approved by the Commission.
