Membership is subject to:
- Completing an application form, which includes a justification of interest and a description of experience in the field of media literacy.
- Aligning with the values and goals of the platform.
- Presenting activities to the platform members.
Members of the platform are expected to:
- Share their experiences, activities, and information related to media literacy with other members.
- Participate in campaigns and activities organized by the platform to promote the improvement of media literacy in Slovakia.
Organizations, institutions, and experts who, for some reason, cannot become members (e.g., institutional independence) but wish to participate in platform activities, can obtain observer status.
Observer status includes:
- The right to participate in meetings and activities of the platform.
- No involvement in the decision-making process of the platform.
The decision-making processes of the platform are proposed by the Office of the Council for Media Services, and members of the platform will have the opportunity to provide feedback and approve them. A list of all members and observers of the platform will be published on the website of the Council for Media Services.
